IDF World Championship in Modern Dance Sport, Pecs, Hungary 31st May - 4th June 2017
International Dance Federation and IDF Dance Hungary are delighted to invite all dancers to the 15th Dance World Championship which will be held from 31st May till 4th June 2017 in the Expo Centre in Pecs, Hungary.
Pécs - the largest city of the South-Transdanubian region in South-West Hungary is a Catholic Episcopal hub and a vibrant university city. This fabulous location provides home to a large number of festivals and various cultural events year after year. The city was awarded the title of the European Capital of Culture 2010.
IDF World Championship will be held in a modern and highly impressive Expo Centre that will no doubt provide excellent staging to all the fantastic dancers. See attached information about the city, facilities and transport links as well as accommodation booking form.

31st May Opening Ceremony (5:00pm)
1st June Dance Show, Hip Hop, Fit-Kid (former Free Show), Belly Dance, Folk Dance and Free Dance.
2nd June Fantasy Show, Dance Show, Hip Hop, House, Popping, Waacking, Dancehall, Disco Freestyle, Techno and Disco Dance (if necessary).
3rd June Disco Dance, Fantasy Show (if necessary), Dance Show (if necessary), Hip Hop (if necessary), Break, Musical, Hip Hop Battle, House Battle and Break Battle.
4th June Caribbean, Dance Pop, Jazz Funk, Disco Slow and Tap Dance
Please, note that there might be some modifications introduced to the programme.
We would like to inform all dancers that, as per IDF Rules, everyone wishing to participate in the World Championship is obliged to book a minimum of two nights in the accommodation provided by the organisers (hotels, appartments, campings or youth hostels).
