Well done to Serbia!

After eleven years of running successful international events open to participants from across the world and having received more and more requests from countries wishing to host big competition the IDF has launched a new annual event.

The first European Championship was held in a town of Kanjiza in Serbia, six months after the World Championship in the British Eastbourne.

Not all the IDF European countries were able to attend but nine nations in total with 656 dancers involved seem a great success for a brand new initiative. A delightful theatre full of excited audience; three competition days; thirteen adjudicators representing seven nations; new European Champions in many disciplines; great organisation managed by Serbian Stage Dance Association (VAMP) and led by their President Mrs Elisabeth Soti. All of these leave an unforgettable memories and willingness for another event like that to be held very soon..
