The IDF Young Board is our new project aimed at representing a voice of young people from across the IDF member countries. Its target is to increase the young people's presence in the life of the federation and to allow them voice their opinions, communicate their ideas, advise on how to best engage with our dancers as well as to contribute to shaping the future of the International Dance Federation and its projects.
 
Please apply if:

* you are the current IDF dancer/member age 11-16
* you feel you are pro-active, mature, reliable and motivated
* you are passionate about dance, dance competitions and sport development and wish to work in an international environment in order to make a difference and contribute to building even better and stronger dance federation
* you have at least a communicative level of English
* you can commit to attending one training session a year (this will be held on Wed 23rd May 2018 in the afternoon in Pula, Croatia before the World Championship Opening Ceremony, exact time to be confirmed)
* you are ready to commit to getting involved in at least one project/working group of your choice - this will be discussed and agreed at the initial training session
* you are ready to commit to regular communication with the IDF International Relations Co-ordinator (at least 3 times a year - via email, skype or WhattsApp) to review progress

Successful applicants will be informed by Tue 15th May 2018.
 
The elected members of the IDF Young People's Panel will commence their roles from 23rd May 2018 and will be able to stay on the panel for the duration of 2 years. On completion of their roles they will receive a certificate and if required a reference that they can use when applying for University, jobs etc.
 
There isn't a maximum number of applicants allowed from each country. We would like to hear from anyone who is interested. We are keen to appoint at least one young member from each IDF member country.
