IDF has chosen their new leaders.
After a successful day in Pecs, Hungary – the host town of the next IDF World Championship 2017 the IDF has elected the new leaders. The new Steering Committee will remain in office for the next four years and will be formed of nine nations: Croatia, England, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Spain and Ukraine.
Former General Secretary Leandro Senesi from San Marino has been elected the new IDF President. Aleksandr Gladysh from Ukraine has been elected a Vice-President and Katalin Kovacs from Hungary the new General Secretary.
The Presidium also includes:
International Relations Co-ordinator - Agata Maj (Poland)
Technical Co-ordinators: Sergey Anikeev (Ukraine), Alicia Lopez (Spain) and Urszula Dziekciarek (Poland)
Adjudicators Co-ordinator - Bartolo Dell’Aiera (Italy)
Marketing Committee: Robert Ban (Croatia), Anne-Marie Gomez (Gibraltar), Sergey Gritsenko (Russia), Ryszard Nowogorski (Poland) and Angie Whittle (England).
Former IDF President Franco Ventura has been appointed the General Secretariat Co-ordinator and Bursar with Elisabeth Soti from Serbia being an advisor.
IDF would like to thank the outgoing members of the Steering Committee for their hard work and their contribution to the development of the federation over the last four years. Special mention goes to the former President Franco Ventura who has led IDF for the last eight years and whose professionalism, expertise, dedication and personality has been the real IDF treasure.
